Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Gag Pie ("we", "us") collects when you visit gagpie.com (the "Site") or use our AI photo effects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Gagpie Team (gagpie.com). It also explains how our advertising partner, Google, uses cookies on the Site.
1. Information we collect
Photos you upload
When you use an effect, you choose a photo from your device. The photo is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our image-processing service, which uses a third-party AI provider to generate your result. Some effects may also ask for optional details such as a first name to personalize the result.
Messages you send us
If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider (Cloudflare) receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, language, pages visited and the date and time of the request. We also record anonymous usage events (for example, "effect started" or "result shared") to understand which effects are popular and to fix problems.
2. How we use information
- to create the photo effect you requested and show you the result;
- to operate, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent abuse;
- to answer your questions and handle privacy requests;
- to display advertising that funds the Site (see section 4);
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your photos, use them to train our own models, use them for advertising, or build facial recognition profiles from them.
3. How long we keep information
Uploaded photos and generated results are kept so that you can view, download and share your result, and are deleted after 30 days. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and for our records. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on some pages of the Site. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message, provided through Google's consent management tools, before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.
5. Cookies and local storage
We and our partners use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

- Service providers — hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), storage of generated images, and the AI image-processing provider that creates your result. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Advertising partners — Google, as described in section 4.
- Social networks — only if you choose to share a result, in which case the network you select receives the shared link or image under its own privacy policy.
- Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request — for example, to ask us to delete a photo you uploaded before the normal retention period ends — email support@gagpie.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security and international transfers
We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect information. Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
